We were asked by the City to create a Traditional play space that included “Traditional outdoor play components integrated with natural elements i.e. Rocks, timber balance beams and natural steppers”. The community were asked to choose their preferred play elements to be included into the design the three most voted designs were 1) Climbing net "Spider Web" design. 2) Double rocker and 3) were Monkey bars.
Playmaster designed a compact 3 platform playground that offers a raised double platform cubby roofed area with multiple access points that cater for the mixed ages and abilities of users. It also includes the 3 elements most voted by the local community.
We included Upper strength components like the Arched Monkey Bars, a Rock Wall and a 2m web wall that allows for partial or full length 2m climbing up and over.
The 1200 platforms with interactive panels on and under provide opportunities for much loved imaginative and social play for the younger users. The double wave slide provides the thrill of forced movement that all children love with the added excitement of sharing it with a friend as they exit side by side.
The free standing Pinball Panel provides a fun educative game that can be enjoyed by users of all ages. The swings and the double rocker also give the children the thrill of forced movement that can be enjoyed together.
